Employee Screenings are performed with Cholestech LDX System which is CRMLN (Cholesterol Reference Method Laboratory Network) certified for total and HDL cholesterol. This certification "validates that the system meets the gold standard for accuracy and reproducibility, developed by the Centers forDisease Control and Prevention (CDC), consistent with National Cholesterol Education Program (NCEP) analytical goals."  ¹ 

The manufacturer  has acheived an ISO13485 certification for its "Quality Management System, covering design, development and manufacture of the Cholestech LDX System. The ISO 13485 standard is an internationally recognized quality standard for medical devices and receipt of the certification demonstrates commitment to maintaining world class product design and support processes" ² .  Our choice of this type technology/instrumentation is based on our mission statement that Biometrics Plus provide only the best for you and your clients at an affordable cost..and that is not just marketing jargon...it is our comittment to you. 

Screening tools used at health fairs, while not as sophisticated as the Cholestech LDX system, are standard screening tools, both medically accepted and widely used in monitoring patients with chronic conditions.

ALL technologies and tools, no matter how simple or advanced are always subject to Biometrics Plus' rigorous quality assurance program overseen by our medical director which requires a battery of calibrations/quality assurance testing prior to each use.
